You can install your own free VPN server for free and can use it for Windows, MacOS, Linux, Apple devices and Android devices without paying a single penny. And what is more there will be no logs for your connections if you do not want to. You can also delete your servers whenever needed and switch to a new server.
We will use OpenVPN for the purpose. OpenVPN has free clients for almost all operating systems and mobile devices.

For the generated .ovpn files you need to connect to your server and download it.
For MacOs users Tunnelblick is a good client option.
